Mission Statement
We believe that the Polish-American community represents a significant untapped potential for civic and community affairs in the United States. We believe that improved access for individuals and organizations in our community to relevant information can help guide their actions to the benefit of everyone. Contributing to the vitality of Fort Worth/Dallas community, the PAFT is dedicated to being a place of help, hope and empowerment for families and individuals in need of assistance and for those adjusting to a new life and culture. PAFT embraces and promotes the following leadership values: integrity, competence, community, servanthood (a non-commercial interest in the promotion of the best interests of the community), accountability, inclusiveness, and respect for individuals of different faiths, cultures and convictions. Maya Monroe - President Maya is a licensed Realtor with Keller Williams Realty, Plano, TX. She also owns her own Travel Agency, Maya Travel. She holds a degree in International Hotel Management and Tourism from The School of Warsaw, Poland. Maya worked for The International Grand Hotel and The Warsaw International Airport as coordinator for foreign tourists. She moved from Warsaw to Paris to continue her education at Seven University to study French. While in Paris she worked for Hughes Laurent Corp. as a Sales Representative and Fashion Consultant. Maya has worked in the customer service industry for over 20 years and is devoted to her clients. Maya brings her expansive knowledge of various cultures, enthusiasm for life, and passion for high quality service to our organization. Her hobbies include world travel, attending opera and classical music concerts, interior design and skiing. She currently lives in Carrollton, TX.
