Orlenta Monument at Przemysl, Poland

Dance Ensemble “Orleta” was founded in 2006 to promote various dance forms, with emphasis on the traditional Polish Folk Dance.  “Orleta” (Young Eagles) is a part of the Polish-American Foundation of Texas, a not-for-profit, 501(c) (3), tax exempt corporation.

The monument of "Orlenta" (Young Eagles) in Przemysl, Poland commemorates young soldiers, mostly children, who fought for the independence of Poland.

The group’s Artistic Director, Malgorzata (Margaret) Kochan, right side of photo, designed this year’s program with both young and adult dancers in mind.

It will incorporate the Folk, Ballroom and Free Style dance forms to provide participants with the broadest dance knowledge.  Thorough and slow-pace instruction will insure confidence and competence on the dance floor.

There will be several opportunities to perform Polish Folk Dances as well as Ballroom Dances throughout the DFW area during this season.

This program is a perfect choice for those who want to make new friends, learn the basics of partnering, improve coordination and poise, enhance their fitness level and have a lot of fun while doing it.

Couples are recommended, but singles are always welcome. Consistency is strongly suggested however you can join at any time.
